The Closed Directory Project is a reaction to the so-called "Open Directory Project", which is so hard to get your site listed on that for all practical purposes it may be considered closed. We don't believe in high and mighty Cyber Barons lording it over the lowly web peasants. Although the Closed Directory Project is human reviewed, human edited and human monitored, we're neither the FBI nor the KGB: all sites that follow our guidelines are allowed in.
